No More Sticking Drawers

Many Triangle-Pacific drawer systems were originally installed in the 1970s or 80s, and like most things 30-40 years old, they need some maintenance.  Sometimes the drawers don’t slide open and shut like they used to.  There are several causes- grooves wear into the rail, gunk builds up, sometimes the rails are not level.  The good news is there's help: DRY SILICONE LUBRICANT.

Remember any time something stuck or squeaked, your dad would blast it with the oily WD-40?  Well lubricant spray has gotten some great updating in the past few decades.  Now dry lubricant sprays are better, cleaner, and longer-lasting.  And don’t worry- WD-40 does make a dry spray.

NO MESS, NO PROBLEMS    New lubricant sprays dry up quickly and aren’t oil based so they won’t leave greasy slicks all over.  No more messy hands and slimy, drippy surfaces.

UNATTRACTIVE IS ATTRACTIVE    Dry sprays won’t attract dust or moisture.  This means gunk won’t build up and create this problem all over again.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE    This stuff works on everything!  Noisy door hinges, hard-to-open window tracks, sticky power tool belts, filthy lawn mower blades…about the only thing it won’t do is get stains out of carpets.

Just pull your plastic drawers out of the cabinet and spray the monorails, and then a quick spray on the back of the drawer that rides on the rail.  It might be easier to spray by taking the monorails out too, but that’s up to you.

Also- don’t forget to get your dad a can too- I’m sure he’ll thank you.
